Yorktown Library Renovation & Expansion

Groundbreaking September 2020!

Coming soon! The NEW Yorktown Library—York County’s innovative destination for learning,
cultural arts, and community engagement. During the upcoming renovation, the library facilities
will be expanded to 22,000 square feet, nearly doubling its size. Families will love our new
children’s wing and teen space.

There will be multiple study rooms, classrooms, and
collaborative spaces, perfect for tutoring, small meetings, or study sessions. Other exciting
additions to the library include a gallery, traditional reading room, and performance space that
can accommodate 100 people. We know you’ll love checking out what the new Yorktown has to
offer you!
